Seasonal flowers and foliage to honour your loved one.

• Wreaths – not planted or semi planted
  •  The base is mossed up and planted with perennial flowering plants and or  bulbs depending on the season. The spaces in between are filled with cut flowers and folaige to achieve the over all look.  The plants may then be planted in the families garden.
• Sprays not planted or semi planted as above.
• Sheafs – these are tied with string and a compostable ribbon
• Sharable  baskets of flowers.
  • I use a wicker basket which will conceal jars. The cut flowers are arrangement into the jars so that the arrangement works as a whole. At the end of the day the jars of flowers can be taken out and given away to friends and relatives.
• Something different:
  • An arrangement in the old worn pair of boots belonging to the deceased, or a vessel that has value to the family or the deceased.
  • An arrangement which includes items or reflects the hobbies of the departed. I could use a football or their gardening trug or sewing bag, or make a spray using fruits and vegetables for the keen allotment holders.

Sustainablity:
I do not use floral foam or plastic. I make them fully compostable – if I need to include water reservoirs for very thirsty stems I do. So if you want to leave them by the graveside or at a green funeral site then they will compost down. In this way you can minimise their carbon footprint.

Personalisation:
I try to make the tribute personal. This may be incorporating favourite flowers when possible, colours or even flowers from the departeds garden.
